2022/23 London Season

September 2022 – June 2023

Welcome to our 2022/23 London season at the Southbank Centre.

Our Principal Conductor, Santtu-Matias Rouvali, conducts music by Rachmaninov, Stravinsky, Shostakovich, Beethoven and Strauss. Cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason is our Featured  Artist, appearing as a soloist, chamber musician and speaker. Anna Clyne is our Featured Composer – opportunities to discover her music include two free Music of Today concerts and the world premiere of her clarinet concerto Weathered.

Look out for pianists Yuja Wang, Stephen Hough and Benjamin Grosvenor, violinists Lisa Batiashvili, Randall Goosby and Nicola Benedetti, and bass-baritone Bryn Terfel, who joins forces with our former Principal Conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen in an evening of Wagner and Bruckner.

Concerts up to the end of January are on sale now. For February – June concerts, priority booking for Friends opens at 10am on Thursday 13 October, and general booking opens at 10am on Thursday 20 October. Become a Friend for priority booking.
