Free performances
Philharmonia Chamber Players is our series of free early-evening concerts by small ensembles of Philharmonia musicians. Members of the Orchestra choose their own programmes to perform with their friends and colleagues, to complement the orchestra’s programme later that evening.
Music of Today brings you brand new music, composed by both established composers and up-and-coming voices. Every summer we premiere works by participants in our Composers’ Academy, who have spent a year working with members of the Philharmonia to develop their craft.

Every year, our members come up with concert programmes for different chamber ensembles, made up of their friends and colleagues.
