The Conductors’ Circle is a community at the heart of the Philharmonia. The support of our members allows us to plan for the future with confidence and ambition. Joining as a member offers access to exclusive events and behind-the-scenes insights.
As we recover from the pandemic, supporting the Philharmonia with an annual membership will enable us to re-establish our position on the world stage. A three-year pledge of support will offer the Philharmonia the financial resilience to stage a bold and ambitious long-term programme.

Chair Endowment
The Philharmonia’s musicians are amongst the finest in the world, and Chair Endowment enables you to support a position within the Orchestra that is special to you. If flutes or trumpets are your passion, endowing a principal player’s chair will forge a direct connection for you with one of our players.
Keep the Philharmonia’s music playing for years to come by endowing a Chair or Section for three years or more. You might choose to do so on behalf of a music-lover you know, or even in memory of someone no longer with us.
We will work with you to foster a direct relationship with the player(s) you are supporting, digitally via Zoom and email, and in person at the concert hall.
Over 60 individual chairs are available for Endowment, including Concertmasters, Principals, and Tutti Players, and encompassing all instruments of the orchestra.
Chair Endowment is a hugely satisfying and personal way to directly support the Philharmonia Orchestra’s world-class musicians. Make a difference and become part of our future.

Chairs that are currently available for Endowment are:
“I truly value the personal connection that my support of the Principal Horn Chair has forged over the years. It adds a sense of pride during concerts, seeing Orchestra members I have got to know very well shine on stage. It makes one really feel part of the Philharmonia family.”
John Wates, Honorary Member of the Philharmonia
