Before joining the Philharmonia, Robin’s full and varied freelance career has seen him work with most of the major symphony orchestras across London and the UK, often appearing as guest Principal Trumpet. He has toured across the world from Japan to the USA and played on many film scores such as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Rise of the Guardians and Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Away from music Robin likes to spend his time snowboarding in the Alps, searching for the perfect cup of coffee and occasionally attempting to play football. He is a lifelong supporter of Chelsea Football Club.

The No. 2 Trumpet Chair is currently available for endowment. Endowment opportunities at the Philharmonia offer supporters unique access and insights to our players. Find out more here.
